Key events/ projects:

- Secured donations for the replacement of two leaking water tanks and the addition of one extra water tank to address water shortages.

- Coordinated the construction of a perimeter wall and gate at the back of the school. This wall was built in August 2019 by a parent Mr. Michael Boodoosingh, Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Macon Construction Limited. This wall fulfilled a long-standing safety need of the school for an emergency exit.

- Another major achievement was the painting of the entire exterior school building. This was accomplished through the kind approval of the Commissioner of Prisons and was undertaken under the diligent supervision of Prison Officer Mr. Kishore Seeramlal and a team of hardworking Prison Officers Mr. Jason Huggins, Mr. Oliver Rosemin, Mr. Bisram Ramdass and Mr. Paul De Gale all of whom are either parents or past parents of the school. The labour was provided free of charge while the PTA paid for paint and materials.

- Construction of washroom facility adjacent to the Conference Room

- Online ession on Cybersecurity by Mr. Daren Dhoray of CybersafeTT

- Session conducted for parents on Cyberbullying by School Social Worker- Ms. Lisha Amunwah

- Presentation by Mr. Rishi Singh (Acting Superintendent of Police, Anti-Kidnapping Unit)

- The PTA contributed towards the school’s flood relief efforts. Affected families were provided with mattresses, food items, toiletries etc.

- Distribution of welcome packages to new Form 1 Students

- Sponsoring of Trophies and Awards to Form 5 Graduates

The PTA completed a major upgrade of students' washrooms in December 2017. This would not have been possible without the assistance of the parent body, teachers and many corporate donors who contributed towards PTA fundraisers. The washrooms were repainted in 2022.

On Friday 12th August, 2016 members of the PTA met with the Honourable Anthony Garcia Minister of Education and members of the ASJA Board to discuss much needed infrastructure upgrade which involves the completion of the building to address leaks and provide space for sixth form classrooms. This is a copy of the official Press Release from the Office of the Minister of Education. In July/ August 2017 the Minister kept his word and the roof was competed.
